A couple of songs, about Arbor Tree Day have been written. The first in 1984 by folk musician John Kirkpatrick (ex Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey & others), was written when he lived in the village.

The second, in 2004 by another local, a retired nurse called Rose Evans.
